Welcome to First Baptist Church

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Camarillo, where Christian fellowship is a way of life. We are located in the heart of Camarillo on Temple Avenue 1/4 mile south of Las Posas Rd. If you are looking for a church that is large enough to minister to you and your family, yet small enough to KNOW you and your family, we invite you to be our guest. We have Sunday School for all ages every Sunday at 9:15 AM. Our 10:30 worship service has a blend of contemporary praise music and traditional hymns with preaching by Pastor Dan Nelson. Sunday nights at 6:30 PM is the old fashioned gospel hour with traditional hymns. Our entire staff of ministers, including Pastor Dan Nelson, Pastor Bill Milton, and Pastor Bob Carpenter, share the preaching duties on Sunday nights .

Got Kids? Got nursery, preschool, and children's programs during Sunday School and all worship services. We also have an Awana program for preschool through high school that meets Sunday evenings. Go to our Children's Ministry page to find out more.

Got Teens? We'll keep them growing in our year around program led by our Youth Pastor Bill Milton. Pastor Bill encourages teens to be active in our Sunday morning and Friday night programs, as well as J.V. and 24/7 Varsity Awana clubs. We go to 3 major retreats (camps, conferences) each year. Additionally, we have numerous small, local activities. Our youth ministry has an large website with information about lots of activities at http://www.iyouthgroup.com.
